As a cat sitter in our community, you will get paid to look after gorgeous kitties in the comfort of their own home.
How to become a cat sitter:
- You must be reliable, responsible and a huge cat lover
- You must be over 18 years old
- Create an account on Rover.com and follow the steps to complete your cat sitter profile
- You will be asked to verify your identity and connect your bank account via Stripe to receive payments
Once your profile has been approved, it will be made public. Cat owners searching for a cat sitter in your area will be able to see your profile and will send you a request if they think you're a good match for their cat. When a cat owner contacts you, please respond as quickly as you can following the links provided in our emails and text messages.
Cat owners often request:
- Daily visits in the owner's home. Each visit is between 30 and 60 minutes depending on the kitty's routine
- You can also offer overnight house sitting in their home or boarding in your home
